It
is very important for students to be familiar with new technologies
that are available in the classroom. Students in our classroom
will use word processing programs such as Microsoft Word, create slide
shows such as Power Point, and create images using a photo/image
software program called Paint Shop Pro.
In addition,
students in our class will be using software provided through an HP
grant. We have an HP Tablet PC, HP color printer, Epsom
projector, and many additional software applications. There
are many online resources that will helps students as they work on
projects throughout their school career. Another goal is to learn
the best ways to research topics online. By
using a variety of technology application while students are in the
elementary grades, they will be exposed to new technologies and
comfortable with new applications as they move toward Middle and High
School. My goal is to share
as much technology as possible throughout our daily curriculum so that
my students feel comfortable and confident exploring new technologies. |
