2008 Solo & Ensemble Results

    Students are required to prepare either a solo, with piano accompaniment, or part of an ensemble, and play it in front of a musical judge.  These judges are teachers from all levels from around the state and nation.  They all have completed rigorous training and have dedicated themselves to the task of listening to, commenting on, and giving ratings to several hundred students.  The rating possibilities are: Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent, and Superior (the best).

    This year's event was held at Bartow High School on Friday & Saturday, February 8th & 9th.  All of our students performed on Saturday. 

    As our students continue to excel musically, it is important to encourage them to keep up with practicing and always strive to provide the best opportunities for them.  If you wish to locate a private teacher to help out, ask Mr. Kesler and he'll be happy to get a list of teachers to you.

    CONGRATULATIONS to all these fine young musicians!  And thanks parents, for helping them go the extra mile.
