Jazz Band to
Start in September |

The UA Jazz Band is made up of students
who have at least one year playing experience, AND can play well
enough to add more to their work-load without overwhelming themselves.
Watch for details.

Practice Cards -

|
Your child should have been bringing their practice
cards home each day and fill them in each time they practice. In order to maintain a strong "A", they should have practiced 150
minutes each week (that's 30 minutes a day for 5 days). Non
beginners are required to practice 100 minutes.
Remember parents, the cards need to be signed by you before they are
turned in. Also, be encouraging as you listen to these beginning
sounds, even if you are dying to make a "sick seal" or "dying duck"
joke! Every student was issued a practice card, but if it has been
misplaced, click
here for another copy. |
