Each month we will have a Home Project for students to complete. It is very important for your child to create this project with only a little help from others. Projects completed by parents will not be displayed and will be sent back home. It should be evident that your child has had a part in every step of the project so s/he may share with the class.
Me Bag Project (August)
On the first day of school, your child will bring home a white lunch bag. S/he should decorate the bag in any manner they wish. Their name must be on the outside of the bag. Your child can choose three items to place in the bag that they would like to share with the class. Items must fit inside the bag. Items to include can be the real item or a picture of an item or even pictures of themselves doing an activity or on vacation. Each day, several children will share about themselves using the items in their bag. After your child shares, the bag will be sent home.
