The battalion has participated in multiple community service projects throughout the past three years.
Such examples include:
Political sign pick- up
Delivering fire wood to senior citizens
Painting Halloween signs
Hurricane relief
Parking for blue grass festival
Participate in relay 4 life
Helping Tolar elementary school
Hiding Easter eggs for the preschool kids
Selling wrist bands for Relay-4- Life
Each year the battalion participates in service learning projects. Last year a group of cadets went to perform flag dedication. This year, we’re going to map the walking paths in our community. JROTC will be working with one American history class, and one HOPE class. This will be paid for by a $43,000 Florida Learn and Serve Grant.
