  • Assuming you have successfully registered for a FIRN Web Hosting account, you will need to use a FTP client configured with the correct settings. 
    
    Please refer to the section under "Information - Uploading your site" for specific details.

  • How do I find my website?
  • Upon successful registration, you should receive an email with a link to your website. Otherwise, you may use the "Find Your Website" tool in the under Information section. The typical website will follow the examples below.
    
    Classroom website format:
         http://schools.firn.edu/websites/county/school/classrooms/teacher_name
    Actual URL:
         http://schools.firn.edu/websites/leon/apalachee_elementary_school/classrooms/john_doe/
    
    School website format:
         http://schools.firn.edu/websites/county/school/homepage
    Actual URL:

  • The website that I just registered for does not exist.
  • New websites are created upon the first login via FTP. Once you have logged into your FTP account and uploaded files, your website should be available.

  • Why did my registration fail the DOE teacher verification?
  • Either the information you provided was not spelled correctly, or the information in the Florida Department of Education database is not correct.
    
    You may try registering again or contact the FLDOE to have your information corrected. Teacher verification is a service provided by FLDOE.
